I'm Ali — a voiceover artist based in the north of England, with a neutral English accent and a soft northern quality that's approachable and grounded without being regional.

My background is a little different from most. After 30 years as an applied psychologist, trainer, facilitator and coach, I've spent my career communicating complex ideas clearly, holding space for people, and making others feel at ease. That experience doesn't disappear when I step into the booth — it shapes every read.

I work across audiobooks, e-learning, corporate narration, commercials and wellbeing content, and I have a particular love for storytelling and anything that requires a gentle, human touch. Whether guiding listeners through thoughtful narration, soothing meditations or steady, reassuring commercial reads, I bring a relaxed professionalism that puts people at ease.

What I enjoy most is getting under the skin of a brief — understanding what a client really needs and finding the most compelling way to deliver it. Quality matters to me, and so does the relationship.
